Could you present Egg Events?

Egg Events is an international event communication agency created twenty years ago by Angélique Eriksen, of Franco-American-Norwegian nationality. Today it is more than 750 events managed per year in 35 different countries and it is about 60 million annual turnover. We have 120 employees in France, Switzerland, Belgium, the United States and Dubai.

 

How was life at Egg Events before Mooncard?

EGG Events is constantly keeping up with new technologies. We already had automated management and production tools, we were missing the element that would allow us to update all the files and automatically transcribe the expenses to our customers. We managed expense reports in a classic way: on paper. It was just a real waste of time; in addition to being complicated for us, it was also complicated for our customers. Today, we need to be faster, more efficient and completely transparent to our customers.

What has Mooncard brought to Egg Events?

Mooncard is part of something innovative and always improving by managing all the issues of retrieving supporting documents, updating data in real time and transmitting information to our customers. Since the implementation of the Mooncard, each project manager has his own card. Today, we no longer need to advance costs.

When we go to an event, we are able to immediately use the Mooncard payment card; everything is nominative and the transcription of financial information is done in real time. Our clients are also put in the loop, they are instantly informed of the expenses incurred during the project. We can easily transcribe them and take stock with them. It changes everything!

 

What were your difficulties and what are your fears today?

Our fears? None, because today being accompanied by Mooncard is positive progress. We were already using professional payment cards before Mooncard, but we had to wait more than a month to receive them and it still took a month to receive all the supporting documents. Thanks to Mooncard, our accountants are no longer really accountants, they are analysts. They are now business partners. In addition, the feedback from our employees is very positive. Today, they have access to all transactions, which was not the case before.

What makes the Mooncard solution so strong in your opinion?

Mooncard's strength lies in obtaining information instantly, managing it on a daily basis and being up to date every day.

Do you have an anecdote to share with us about an unusual use of the Mooncard by your employees?

Of course! We once came across a photo receipt of an employee who had photographed the gas pump instead of the payment receipt at the terminal. Upon seeing the photo, we simply did not accept it!

The final word, how would you describe Mooncard in one word?

Mooncard for me is progress.
